The 6414 is 1/2 inch taller than a standard 12AT7 and is a useful great sounding sub for a 12at7, 5965, or a 7062. These are Triple Mica, grey plate construction with D-getters. They were mistakenly branded 12AT7 by the National/Richardson company. Highly recommended for Singlepower Extreme headphone amplifier.
Regardless of the branding (Amperex, Valvo, Siemens, Calvert etc) the Holland made 7119=E182CC (although not a direct substitue but similar to 12BH7 with a 10,000 heater) is a premium quality twin triode.
