Description
NOS Amperex Holland 2N280/OC71/CV7005 (circa 1956) germanium transistors.
These transistors are useful in the fuzz type/rangemaster/tonebender circuits, and these sound as good if not better than the NKT-275 red dot transistor.
Amperex black glass version date code 6 P H. The black glass (no metal sheath) versions are all Amperex branded in original boxes of 500 (see attached photo). The Holland branded OC71 CV7005 2N280 with the additional metal sheath are arguably the best sounding germanium for fuzz face pedals. Just $12.99 each
