The Telefunken ecc801S is an amazingly transparent, open and accurate 12AT7 variant. The bass and high end extension are very accurate (but not overemphasized) The Telefunken ecc801S has a 10,000 heater. It has one of the lowest noise floors of any 12AT7 variant and is very neutral, balanced, with virtually no coloring.
