Special screening was used to select them for audio use and low noise, and they have a 10,000 hour heater. These are incredibly detailed, and highly recommended. Extremely balanced nice sound with lively mids and very nice, tight bass.
This is a suitable replacement for any 12AT7 tube type. Various brands available.
